The brand with 3 strikes

14. A visit to Oxford Street

I paid a visit to the Oxford Street store, with the intention of hopefully picking up the reservation, or at least getting a better understanding of what was going on.

I showed the member of staff my reservation number, and explained the situation. He (the member of staff) said that it has been delivered but has not been processed. I was quite bewildered by this, so I asked him - "so you're saying that you have the product that I have reserved here in your store, but I am unable to pick it up?". Somewhat lacking in nterpersonal skills, his response was simply "it's been delivered, but not processed". When I asked him why it had not yet been processed, his response was that they were short staffed at the moment. I would have believed this if I hadn't seen 3 members of staff on the tills, and another 3 on the shop floor that was now empty of customers.

I left in disgust. This was strike two.

I usually pick up my reservations at the Westfield London store - as this is closer to my home. The staff there have always been very helpful, especially if there are any issues. I elected to pick up the shirt from Oxford Street as it was easier to get to from work. In hindsight I sincerely regret this decision - I shall not be making the same mistake twice.
