12. Following up on Adidas helpdesk
I hadn't received a reply from the Adidas helpdesk, so I sent a follow-up email. Again I asked them for an update on the status of my order.
The lack of communication was starting to make me feel a bit uneasy - I had never had trouble with Adidas before, but this current experience was starting to feel somewhat mismanaged.

Can you please let me know what is going on with this order?
I was told it would be ready to collect by now. My last experience of dealing with you resulted in me not being told that the product was ready for collection, and the product being returned to the warehouse.
