27. Return to Oxford Street

With the anticipation of finally picking up my order I walked along Oxford Street to be outside the door of the Adidas store for 09.00.

As the security guard opened the doors for me I headed straight to the tills, which were all unmanned. I look to my right and see that the entire sales team of the Adidas store are still engaged in their morning team talk, on the shop floor. The look of surprise on their faces matches mine. The leader of the team talk (who I presume is the store mananger) asks me "are you a customer?" - almost as if the last thing he expects to see at 9am on a Wednesday morning at 415-419 Oxford Street is a customer.

When I duly inform him that, yes, I am a customer, and I'm here to pick up a reservation, the sales team disperse and take up their battle stations on the good ship Adidas.

For the first time in 2016 I am able to say that I was pleased with the service provided by Adidas. Kristina and Louisette, the two sales assistants who served me, ensured that I had my order and was out of the door within 5 minutes.
